A growing circuit that buys with intent
The Peruvian circuit has built up substantially around Lima, and the people investing in it are not buying their first horse. That makes for straightforward conversations. We publish full pedigrees, real video including the parts that do not flatter a horse, and a price on every horse, and the sold horses stay on the site afterwards as a record of how their plans actually ended.
Importing through SENASA
Import runs through SENASA, requiring an import permit, pre-export isolation and blood testing in the UK, an export health certificate, a flight into Lima and quarantine on arrival. A local customs agent handles clearance. Allow two to three months and confirm duty for your own case before committing rather than after.
The European alternative
A horse bought to compete is often better left in Europe, stabled in Belgium or the Netherlands and campaigned there, which avoids import cost entirely and keeps the horse in the circuit it was made for. If you are buying to bring a horse home to Lima, import makes sense and we will help you do it properly.
Prices in GBP or EUR on application, not PEN. Horses measured in centimetres (hands in brackets). SENASA import costs and duty are additional.
