Importing a sport horse to Spain — the real logistics
Since Brexit a UK horse enters Spain as a third-country import, and we manage all of it. We arrange the pre-export veterinary inspection and bloods, register the move on TRACES NT, obtain the export health certificate, and book an EU-approved transporter. Spain is a longer journey, so horses usually travel by road across France and Iberia, or by air for distant destinations, with rest planned for welfare.

Spanish clients often begin on video with honest commentary, supported by veterinary history and pedigree, and are welcome to try in Kent. Independent pre-purchase vetting by a veterinarian of your choice is encouraged. We then handle export paperwork, customs and white-glove transport door to door, and stay available for aftercare.
